Locomotive #171

Restoration Project


March 24-25, 2007

171 traveled to the train show in Collinsville, IL and was on display Saturday and Sunday.

There were lines both days of kids (and some adults) waiting a turn to sit on the tender and ring the bell.

April 14, 2007

171 will travel to the train show in Kirkwood, MO and be on display from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

171 will appear in the 2007 Ballwin Days Parade in Ballwin, Mo on Saturday, June 23th.

February 2009

171 once again is put into service for promotional purposes at the Barriger Library on the University of Missouir St. Louis Campus.

The Railroads that Built the West display is open to the public from March 7 until September 20, 2009.
