Saturday 12/31 saw Hardt, Smith, Bitsch, Welch and both of the Scotts at Glencoe. Work continues on changing tracks 1 & 2 at the carbarn with Hardt working on 400's crossheads. Jimmy Scott is really making progress with painting the rolling stock, Jim continues to do wheel turning or replacement on the steel flats, he now has 6 of the 7 cars completed.

Sunday's crew (1st work crew of 2006) was Welch, Mosbacher, Marx and Bitsch. Marx and Welch were cutting up 8ft plastic 4x4s into 2 ft long ties & Mosbacher removed the throttle valve out of 350's old boiler.

Thanks to all who volunteered over the Holidays. Everyone has plenty to do during the Holidays so I know it takes extra effort to give up free time.
