Jim Strain, club president, gives a weekly report of happenings at the railroad.

Sunday was warm but not nearly as humid as earlier in the week. This brought out many more riders and the final count was 450 passengers. Power for the day was 535, 928, 5205 & 13. 928 made one trip then was taken out of service for the day due to a loose coupling on the throttle control in the smokebox and 13 took it's place in the rotation.

Members participating were; Walsh, Tabernacki, Eckrich, Bell, Brannan, Foster, Marx, Wayne & Carol Mosbacher, Gina & Hunter Debellis, Greg & Andrew Wapelhorst, Geders, Fritschle, Errante, Kiesel, Bitsch, Mohen, Lorance, Littlejohn, Shaw, Welch, & myself.

Thanks to all who contributed to the hot dog lunch in honor of Joe Geders. Joe will be at Glencoe on the 13th then heads to his new home on the 15th. Best of luck to Joe from all the WF&P members on his new assignment as Pastor of "Our Lady of the Mountains" Catholic church in Jackson, Wyoming.

Photos attached are of Mike Walsh with 535; Tabernacki with 928; Kiesel & Errante; Tabernacki, Errante, Geders & Mohen; then Gina, Barb & Paula at the souvenir table.
