Photos attached are by Kary Eckrich and taken last Saturday at the Dupo Train Show. Thanks to Jim Greathouse for taking the time to promote the WF&P, and back at Glencoe Devin Lawson, Jim Keaton, Hunter, Dennis Smith & Bob T. were busy getting the trailer ready for the Collinsville Train show on the 24th & 25th of March. 171 will be on display at the show and will attract a good crowd. More work was also done on getting 534's new boiler mounted to the frame.
Sunday's crew of Owings, Marx, Neubie, Lorance and Welch finished the roof on the carbarn extension and got debris cleared off of the ROW in preparation for tie replacement. Hopefully this constant cold weather will break soon so we can begin installing new ties on the mainline.
Wednesday the 14th was also busy with Scotty and Greathouse putting 1300 back in service. Malachi Owens & Jerry Fritschle helped Tabernacki with 534.
Mike Brennan is back in St. Louis after many months of working in Arkansas for FEMA. FEMA did some crew rotations and Mike gets to take an extended vacation back in St. Louis.
