No less that 14 members were out on Sunday, the weather was perfect and allowed the track crew (Bell, Christian, Lorance, Marx, Moose, Welch & D. Smith) to continue ballast work to Daisy; Scotty & Son & Brennan continued finish work on the caboose; Dale was at Bluffs installing a signal there; Lawson, Hardt & Bob T. were busy with 534.

 

Saturday and today (Wednesday) were also very busy with Hank working on the carbarn, Scotty placing decals on the gondolas; 5205 getting some hydraulic leaks fixed; projects on 535, 401, 928 & 403 continue and more ballast was spread.

 

There is still plenty to do to get ready for the season opener on May 6th so don't be shy about coming out to Glencoe to help. We also plan to have our annual warm up day on Sunday April 29th. Yes the start of the 2007 season is very close, the winter sped by very quickly.
