Fred loved working in the machine shop. He was often there on Wednesdays helping with any project needed to help keep his railroad running as smoothly as possible. He could make casing patterns for many parts such as the wheels and trucks shown in this picture. |

After the 2004 season, Fred was unable to spend the whole day in the ticket booth but always enjoyed staying active with the souvenir sale table and the ladies. |

One of Fred's favorite locomotives was the 400. While Fred had not operated a locomotive in years, he was very fond of 400 and took this opportunity to enjoy a few memories while sitting in the cab. |
