The gandydancers were busy up at end of track both days as well. Welch, Christen, Cullen, and later Mosbacher were out at wye and put in 63 ties and hand loaded 2 carloads of ballast into MoPac 301 for spreading.
Taking advantage of the warm spring-like temperatures between the winter storms, I worked both Saturday and Sunday (March 1 and 2) on conduit installation. By the end of Sunday I had installed 110 more feet of conduit. By my estimate, I have about 70 feet left to go. All I need is some more good weather.

Sunday......Welch, Mosbacher, Bell& Ernst went out at 1230 with the 704 and train. At 1 PM, Lorance& Neubauer went out on the 13. They put in 58 ties and we loaded 4 carloads of ballast (by hand) and distributed same. After filling our 3rd carload who arrived on the scene but

Joe Christen-Helped with mounting plate for 5205’s new engine, cleaned water glass piping on 535 for painting. Jerry Fritchle mounted air tank on 928 .
