Can you say WINDY? COLD? WET?

We may have set a new record for passengers - 7.

Greg Whapelhorst and grandson Andrew were here for the weekend along with Tabernacki, Greathouse, Foster, Ernst, DeBillis, Littlejohn, Lawson, Brennan, Cullen, George, Mosbachers, Bitsch, Smith and Owens. Locomotives for the day were 400 and 535. While we only had 7 paid passengers, we did offer rides to several Glencoe residents. We were also visited by some members of the Live Steam club and gave them a ride down onto the new track beyond the wye.

535 was retired for the day while 400 was placed on 'simmer' until a few more passengers or local residents wanted to ride. Maybe we were nuts but all still seem to have fun even in the 30 mph wind with gusts around 45 mph.

Be sure you have marked Saturday, June 28th on your calendar. That is the date of our annual Member's Day. (always the 4th Saturday of June). Notices will be mailed in mid May for RSVP.

No Photos of this week but here are a few from this spring.
