Various members give a report of happenings at the railroad.

Sunday, May 25th saw over 277 passengers before the rain came again. Two loud claps of thunder gave the souvinoir staff just enough warning to pack up and head for the crew shack. Did you know you can fit five adults and one youth in the ticket booth? After the rain passed, there were only a few additional passengers for the day. 928 was brought out for its first revenue run of the season and performed very nicely. Steve Haack's hours of working and fine tuning paid off well.

Wednesday, May 28th the MOW crew of Lorance, Neubauer, Paul Smith and Welch installed 57 ties out at end of track.  Jimmy Scott, along with Hunter "DeB" and Brad George did some scraping and painting of the big bridge near Yeatman.

The full size WF&P locomotive was spotted on the high iron on a mixed consist of motive power this week. (see pic) Other pics were provided by Jimmy Scott.
