Various members give a report of happenings at the railroad.
August ended as a very good month with several Sundays over 600.
Attached are some pictures new member Andrew Dean took of the Roundhouse crew putting the 535 back together.

001: The rebuilt trailing truck of the 535. It got new axles, new roller bearings, several new springs, and a rebuilt pivot plate.
002: Rebuilt drivers of 535. Crank pin surfaces cleaned up (several removed and turned on lathe), "roll over" cleaned off edges of steel tires, thorough cleaning, and fresh paint.
003: 535 sitting over the pit awaiting re-installation of the running gear.
004: Rebuilt pilot truck. It was disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, heart-rockers removed cleaned and inspected, roller bearings inspected, and fresh paint on all surfaces.
005: Tennessee installs the main drivers on 535.
007: Running gear re-installed except the trailing truck. The rods got all new bearing brass. Almost there!
009: Tennessee and Mike Walsh make measurements and adjustments for the final installation of the trailing truck.
011: Tennessee does some final adjustments on the drive wheel bearing boxes and equalizer springs.
012: The completed 535 on the turntable awaiting break-in runs.
