No. 180
Acquired by a member of the railroad in 1944, the origins of 180 are largely unknown, although it is believed to have been built by the Missouri Iron Works sometime during the 1920's. A 4-4-0 type, No. 180 has been a frequent runner and faithful workhorse for the railroad for more than 75 years. The railroad officially purchased it from the member's estate in the 1980's. Having returned to service with a new boiler after a rebuild in mid-2018, 180 was completely rebuilt as a coal burner and is equipped with experimental rosebud grates.
